Community Meetings - Past and Upcoming

I am very fortunate to live in a community with multiple agile user groups that provide amazing learning opportunities, and I just have to share the goodness.

DFW Scrum hosted a meeting last week with Eric Nusbaum speaking on Creating a Culture of Quality in Scrum that was quite popular, and the presentation and additional resources have been posted on the group blog.

Next month, Dallas is going to be wowed with meetings on Portfolio and Program Management--DFW Scrum will have Kenny Rubin speak on Portfolio Management, and the Dallas Agile Leadership Network will have Brian Adkins and Susan Fojtasek with a Reality Check for Program Management.  Both topics become challenges when scaling scrum, and both meetings should prove to be insightful.

Lastly, there's a new agile meetup group for those who are just outside of DFW and wish to meet on the weekends: Servant Leadership & Scrum -- Giving Back to the Community.  The group organizer, Cherie, is a fantastic coach, and I look forward to seeing the group form and grow.
